As a long-time member of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), I've experienced firsthand the profound impact that membership in this esteemed organization can have on personal and professional growth. From networking opportunities to educational resources and industry insights, my experience and time spent with ASCC has been invaluable and empowering me to be more effective in the ever-changing world of concrete contracting.

One of the most significant benefits of my ASCC membership has been connecting with like-minded professionals and industry leaders. Through ASCC events such as the Annual Conference, Concrete Executive Leadership Forum, Committee Week, and the World of Concrete, I've had the chance to forge meaningful relationships with peers, mentors, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry experts. These connections have not only expanded my professional network but also provided valuable support, guidance, and inspiration throughout my career journey.

In addition to networking, ASCC has provided me with access to a wealth of educational resources, and training opportunities. From technical publications and best practice guides to webinars and workshops, ASCC supports its members with the knowledge and skills needed to stay at the forefront of the industry. Whether it's learning about the latest advancements in concrete technology, best safety practices or how best to deal with a concrete problem. ASCC's educational offerings have certainly enhanced my expertise and competence as a concrete contractor.

Furthermore, my involvement with ASCC has allowed me to stay abreast of industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes. Through ASCC's publications, newsletters, and online forums, gaining valuable insights into emerging technology, sustainability initiatives, and safety standards.

Beyond professional development, my ASCC membership has enriched my personal growth in numerous ways. Engaging with fellow members and industry peers has broadened my perspective, cultivated my leadership skills, and instilled a sense of camaraderie and belonging within the concrete contracting community. Whether collaborating on projects, sharing experiences, or volunteering for the Board of Directors and committee work I am extremely grateful for the opportunities and experiences that ASCC has afforded me and look forward to it continuing and giving back to the ASCC community that I’ve benefited from.
