First Place: Polished / Under 5000 SF

This floor was on the second level of a very old and famous building in Nashville, the Roy Acuff Building, where many famous songwriters recorded.

Legacy Learning Systems bought the building and decided to renovate. They had a major crack traveling through the main room of their offices. We patched it and stained everything using multiple dye colors including blue, green, brown, and black to help hide the crack. Then we hand drew and hand engraved a huge pattern that matched the outside vertical wall of the building to bring some of the historical elements in without making it too busy. It was polished to 800 grit and burnished to 1500 grit.
