Faux Bluestone in Overton, Salzano Custom Concrete

First Place: Cast-in-place – Stamped / Under 5000 SF

This customer complained about high maintenance with their existing brick pavers and wanted options for a new pool deck. After research and a consultation with Salzano, they decided on specialty, multi- colored stamped concrete with grouting detail in an Old English Slate pattern and a zero shine sealer. Adding to the difficulty of the project was that the customer decided to keep the original natural bluestone pool coping.

The installation included an upper patio, stone seat wall, steps to the pool, and a new pool deck. With limited access, steep slopes and a long distance from road to work site, Salzano used additional wheelbarrow and buggy labor to transport the concrete to the pool deck area.
